Healthcare
Our health insurance plan provides employees and their dependents access to medical insurance benefits through our national PPO network. Regular full-time employees are eligible to participate in the health insurance plan after 30 days of employment. Insurance premiums are deducted from paychecks in pretax dollars.
VisionCor pays 60-70 percent of the individual employee’s healthcare premiums, depending on longevity with VisionCor, and 25 percent of the employee’s dependent premiums.
The VisionCor healthcare program includes life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance as well as vision coverage.
Retirement/401(k)
VisionCor has a 401(k) savings plan for employees and matches 25 percent of the amount you contribute up to six percent of your eligible pay. The VisionCor 401(k) savings plan allows you to elect the amount of salary that you want to contribute within the IRS contribution guidelines and to manage the funds in which you prefer to- invest the contributions.
Paid Time Off
Paid Time Off (PTO) is an all purpose time-off policy that eligible employees may use for vacation, illness, and personal business. It combines traditional vacation and sick leave plans into one flexible, paid time-off policy. Regular full-time employees are eligible to earn and use PTO as described in this policy.
Employees earn PTO which accrues on a monthly basis, according to their length of employment. Accrual varies from two to four weeks depending upon the individual’s tenure with VisionCor.
Paid Holidays
We offer nine paid holidays per year.
Professional Development
VisionCor holds paid professional develoment days regularly. These professional development activities may include team conferences, lectures, self-study and/or other means of team building and professional enhancement.
In order to remain competitive in today’s consulting market, VisionCor recognizes and supports the need for ongoing professional development for employees. The professional development opportunities that VisionCor offers include a reference library available to all employees, regular professional development meetings, mentoring, tutorials, training classes, seminars, and workshops. These activities are designed to build practical skills, such as software and consulting skills, commensurate with our client needs.
Individual Professional Development Supplement
The purpose of the Individual Professional Development Supplement (PDS) program is to provide additional funding for employees to improve and expand their skill sets through individual professional growth. Employees can receive supplemental funding for eligible professional development activities that enhance the performance, ability, and effectiveness of their work for VisionCor and its clients.
Extended Medical Benefits
Extended Medical Benefit (EMB) is an extended medical benefit plan that eligible employees may use for absence from work due to an extended employee illness; extended illness of a parent, spouse or child; or childbirth, adoption, or placement of a foster child.
Long-Term Disability
VisionCor provides a disability plan to help eligible employees cope with an illness or injury that results in a long-term absence from employment. This disability plan is designed to ensure a continuing income for employees who are disabled and unable to work. This coverage is paid in full by VisionCor.
Parking Reimbursement
Employees are reimbursed, up to $4 per day with a maximum of $85 per month, when parking fees are incurred on assignment or other VisionCor-related business.
Training Reimbursement
When specific training is required for a project for which the client does not provide the training, and VisionCor does not have a consultant available to train that specific skill, then VisionCor pays for the necessary training.
